These are some of our favorite attractions in Sarasota!
Siesta Key Beach and Village
Siesta Key is one of the best beaches in the world! The Village is a great place to hang out - you can stroll through the small shops, grab a bite to eat, and have a drink when the sun sets (or before:).
St. Armand's Circle
This is the busiest place in Sarasota! Great shops, great restaurants, great bars, and Lido Beach is just around the corner (yeah, we know, a circle has no corners).
Sarasota has many Museums and Theaters
Sarasota County has become known as the coolest spot for performing arts on the West Coast. Our cultural attractions include the Florida West Coast Symphony, Jazz Club of Sarasota, Sarasota Ballet of Florida, Sarasota Film Festival and Towles Court Art Association, The Ringling Museum, with the Treviso restaurant right next to it, The Crowley Museum & Nature Center, The Sarasota Opera House, The Asolo Theatre, The Golden Apple Dinner Theater, Players Theatre, Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall, and Venice Theater.
For Kids
Mote Marine Laboratory & Aquarium, with tons of fish and underwater wildlife, Sarasota Jungle Gardens with Florida based animals (you can even touch some of them, well not the alligators of course), and G.Wiz - a place where kids will find all kind of interesting exhibitions.Disney World, Sea World, Universal Studios and all kind of amusement parks are about 2 hours away in Orlando. Bush Gardens is lots of fun (and not nearly as crowded as Orlando parks) and it is only an hour away in Tampa.
